Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled for operating the Watchdog function:

  • A CLS Pro 600 line and contrast sensor or a CLS CAM 100 object sensor is connected to the controller.
  • If a CLS CAM 100 object sensor is used, the proportional control mode is set on the sensor. For setting the control mode, see the installation and operating manual Object sensor CLS CAM 100, document number MD.577.
  • At least one edge sensor is connected to the controller.
  • The edge sensor (capture sensor) is arranged at the same height or behind the line and contrast or object sensor in the web running direction (see Figure).
