Before Switching On

Before switching on the overlaid web edge/web center-line guiding, the following preparation measures must be carried out:

  • ▶Carry out separate commissioning for the feature guiding with the CLS CAM 100 object sensor and the web edge/web center-line guiding with the edge sensors.
  • ▶Carry out the material setup for the edge sensors.
  • ▶Carry out the setup for the CLS CAM 100 object sensor (see separate installation and operating manual Object sensor CLS CAM 100, document number MD.577).
  • ▶Optimize the controller gain for the web edge/web center-line guiding and the feature guiding with the CLS CAM 100 object sensor.
