Function

If you use an IR 2011/40 optical edge sensor to detect the web edge position, you can choose between six different sensor operating modes. The operating modes allow optimum adaptation of the sensor's scanning behaviour to different material properties. A description of the six operating modes can be found in chapter IR 2011/40 Operating Modes.

The desired operating mode is selected in the setup menu using a special setting menu (see Operating Mode Selection).
