Connection Assignment

This chapter only describes the connector sockets of the standard version of the controller (ekr CON 610). You will find a description of the additional connector sockets of the versions with interface module (ekr CON 610 net) in the separate documents for the interface modules (see More Detailed Information).

CAN bus extension

Notice: The connector socket X104 is only available with the standard version of the controller (ekr CON 610).
The version with interface module (
ekr CON 610 net) has a cable gland at this position.

Leads internally to terminal strip X12

* An optionally available CAN bus distributor may be required for the simultaneous connection of several bus participants to the controller (see separate operating instructions of the components to be connected).

If you want to connect two edge sensors to the controller, you have to connect both sensors either via the CAN bus or in analogue.
The connector sockets of the controller are not Hot-Plug capable.
  • Before adding or removing system components on the connector sockets, electrically isolate the controller.
